What you’ll need to make the Gingerbread Soap
Before you get starting making your Gingerbread Soap Bars, gather all your ingredients so they are handy and ready to go. Once you starting melting the soap base, you want to have your molds nearby so you don’t have to go looking for them and have your soap harden in the meantime.

How to Make DIY Gingerbread Soap
Gingerbread Soap Recipe – Perfect Christmas Gifts
Equipment
- Microwave proof measuring cup with a spout
- wooden stick to stir soap
Ingredients
- ¼ lbs goats milk melt and pour soap base (white)
- 1 lb clear melt and pour soapbase
- ¼ tsp Brown Mica Powder
- pinch Coffee Mica Powder (tiny pinch)
Gingerbread Scent Essential Oil Blend*
- 8 drop Cinnamon essential oil
- 8 drops Ginger Essential Oil
- 8 drops Vanilla essential oil
- 4 drops Nutmeg essential oil
- 4 drops Clove essential oil
Instructions
- Cut the soap bases into one inch cubes, and add each to a separate container for melting.
- Heat the white soap base in the microwave for 15 second intervals, stirring between each heating session, until fully melted.
- Add the Brown Mica Powder and stir well until the color is solid.
- Pour into all 8 of the gingerbread mold cavities.
- Allow to set and harden for about 1 hour. Unmold.
- Add the clear soap base to a container and heat for 30 second intervals, stirring between each heat session, until fully melted.
- Add the essential oils and stir well
- Add a tiny pinch of the Coffee Mica Powder, stir well until the color is fully blended.
- Pour a small amount just to cover the bottom of 4 of the rectangular soap mold cavities (Optional, spray with alcohol to reduce bubbles).
- Allow to fully set.
- Arrange two of the gingerbread men into each of the rectangular soap mold cavities that you poured a little of the soap into.
- Fill the remainder of each of those 4 soap mold cavities with the soap base.
- Allow to cool and set completely, about 1-2 hours.
