Supplies For Your Homemade Wood Polish Spray

This easy homemade spray calls for only a few ingredients like olive oil and vinegar that you can probably find in your kitchen cabinet.  If not, you can pick them up next time you’re at the grocery store, or order them online.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Microfiber Cleaning Cloths.  You’ll use these to wipe your wood furniture after you spray it with the polish cleaner.  These are soft and won’t scratch the wood.  These are highly rated and are made of ultra-soft material so are scratch-free.  You can wash them and use them for cleaning up all-around your home.

8 oz Glass Spray Bottles  You’ll want a few of these to use for different green cleaning recipes.  Glass is preferred any time you are using essential oils because plastic and essential oils are not friends.

I love this 3 pack because it is reasonably priced, has the measurement markings on the side, and comes with chalk labels so you know what’s what.

    1. Kim – Others you could try are Lemon or Cedarwood. As always, be sure to test in a small inconspicuous area first.

  1. I’m excited to try this recipe out! I typically get my wood floors polished in my dining room and living by a professional wood floor cleaner near me, and my floors always turn out great. I just cleaned out my basement though and noticed how dirty the wood floors were. I’m planning on using this recipe to DIY polish the floors myself!

    1. Sarah, that’s great! I recommend testing a small inconspicuous area first just to be safe. 🙂
