This DIY Soft Scrub works better than store bought!
Cleaning the bathroom is not an experience people look forward to very often.Being stuck in a small closed space with harsh chemicals not only makes it hard to breathe, but can also be hazardous to your health.
Have you ever stopped to think about the residue left in the tub? I certainly don’t want my kids soaking that into their little bodies.
The next time you clean your bathroom, why not try mixing up an effective cleaner with many ingredients you already have at home. It still might not be your favorite household chore, but you will at least have a clean bathroom and cleaning products to make the job a little easier to handle. And you will feel good knowing that your kids will not be soaking up a chemical concoction left from commercial cleaners.
You can use this cleaner on counters, toilets, in the tub and shower, kitchen sink, refrigerator or tile floors.
This soft scrub is excellent for getting rid of soap scum, removing stains, and brightening your tile and toilet.

Ingredients and Supplies You Need to Make DIY Homemade Soft Scrub
Castile Soap
Liquid Castile soap is a vegetable-based soap commonly found in health food stores.
Quinn’s Castile soap from Amazon is very popular and a favorite! Even Khloe Kardashian loves it!
Baking Soda
Baking Soda is a staple in green cleaning recipes.I buy the biggest bag because I use so much of it. The small box commonly used for cooking isn’t possibly enough.
You can stock up and grab this pack from Amazon for a great price. At the time of this writing, it’s only $0.05 per ounce which is the cheapest I’ve seen it. Click here to check the current price.
Vinegar
White Vinegar is another staple for green cleaning recipes. It’s a natural disinfectant and is great at getting rid of hard water buildup. Did you know you can use this to clean coffee machines instead of those expensive descalers?
I buy it by the gallon and go through it quickly. Grab a gallon at your local grocery store or drugstore.
