Ingredients for DIY Eye Coffee Patches
Before you get started, gather all your ingredients so everything is ready to go

Here’s what you’ll need:
- ¼ cup brewed coffee (recommend organic if possible)
- ¼ cup unflavored grass fed gelatin
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- Round silicone mold
Step-by-Step Guide to Making DIY Eye Coffee Patches
Step 1: The first step is to brew the coffee. Measure out ¼ cup while still hot, but not boiling.

Note: I highly recommend going organic with your coffee. Most coffee has a lot of chemical residue from synthetic pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers, as well as mold.
When it comes to our skin, we want don’t want any of that. All of that can lead to inflammation, redness, irritation and can cause our skin to age faster which is the opposite of what we are attempting to achieve.
Step 2: Once you have your coffee measured out, stir in the honey and aloe vera while it is still warm.

Step 3: Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the warm liquid. Whisk quickly and continuously to prevent clumping. Mix until completely smooth. If it gets hard too fast, slowly heat in a water bath on the stove until it is smooth again.

Step 4: Now, pour the mixture into a circle silicone mold. Keep it shallow so the patches aren’t too thick.

TIPS
- Place your silicone mold on a baking sheet first so that it’s easy to move in the next step.
- Don’t fill each capsule on the mold all the way. Only fill it as thick as you want your eye patch to be. Keep it shallow!
- Gently tap your tray a few times when done to get air bubbles out
Step 5: Place the silicone mold into the refrigerator for about 1 hour to let the mixture set and firm. Once it has gelled, you can remove them.
Step 6: Once set, remove from the molds, then cut in half or into crescent shapes to fit under your eyes.
