Pumpkin Sugar Scrub DIY Recipe

As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, there’s no better time to indulge in the warm, inviting scents of fall. One of my favorite ways to embrace the season is by creating a pumpkin spice sugar scrub, perfect for pampering your skin and getting you in the autumn spirit. This DIY beauty treat not only exfoliates and moisturizes but also fills your bathroom with the cozy aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin.

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub
This pumpkin spice sugar scrub is super simple to make. Read on for the ingredients you’ll need and the steps to follow to make it.
What you’ll need to make this pumpkin sugar scrub

You’ll need the following ingredients to make this pumpkin sugar scrub:
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin powder
- 2 tablespoons carrier oil (jojoba, argan, liquid coconut, avocado, etc.)
- ½ cup sugar (use organic if possible)
- 14 drops essential oils (4 drops clove, 3 drops nutmeg, 2 drops ginger, 5 drops Vanilla)
Steps to Make This Pumpkin Sugar Scrub
First, combine your essential oil with the carrier oil. Skip this step if you’re not using essential oil.

Next, combine the sugar with the carrier oil mixture.

Last, stir in the pumpkin spice powder.

Store your pumpkin spice sugar scrub in a jar.

To use, scoop a small amount with your hand or a spoon and gently massage into skin using your hand, a washcloth or natural loofah.
No plastic poufs, please! No one needs the extra plastic absorbing into your skin and contributing to your toxic load which disrupts hormones and causes other health issues.
