Supplies & Ingredients to Make Homemade Pumpkin Latte Bath Salts

In order to make your homemade pumpkin latte bath salts, you’ll want to gather your ingredients and have them ready.
note: I try to always use organic products for my homemade skincare products since our skin absorbs everything. No need to have unwanted pesticide or other chemical residue. However, non-organic will definitely work.
A container – I used these cute bottles. You can use any container you have. Depending on the size of your container, you’ll be able to fill more than one.
Unscented Epsom Salts – This is my preferred brand that I buy on repeat. Whatever brand you choose to use, be sure it’s unscented.
Organic Instant Coffee – Try to use organic if possible. Coffee is one of the worst offenders when it comes to heavy pesticide use, along with molds and other nasty stuff. This is what I used
Organic Powdered Milk – This is the organic powdered milk I used
Pumpkin Pie Spice (organic if possible) – easy to find at pretty much any store. I used this organic spice blend.
Course Sea Salt
Almond Oil – you can substitute this with jojoba oil, argan oil, fractionated coconut oil or avocado oil. This is the almond oil I used.
Essential Oils
You can make your own pumpkin pie essential oil blend by combining the following essential oils together:
- 9 drops Cinnamon Bark
- 6 drops Orange
- 6 drop Clove
- 3 drop Cardamom
If you don’t have these essential oils, you can buy a premade pumpkin pie blend.
Note: it’s very important to make sure you are getting pure essential oil and NOT a fragrance oil which can be quite toxic. Fragrance oil is typically synthetic and contains mystery ingredients. This can be toxic, especially since you’re going to be soaking in it and your skin will pull this into your body. I recommend THIS PREMADE BLEND.
How to make pumpkin latte bath salts soak
The first step is to mix your essential oil blend together with the almond oil. I used a wooden craft stick for easy cleanup

The next step is to add the unscented Epsom salts and stir well.

Next, add the pumpkin pie spices.

The last step is to add everything into a pretty jar. You can repurpose a jar, buy a jar with a clamping lid such as this one, or here is the jars I used for this:
You could go ahead and add all the ingredients into 1 jar and stir well.
If you like the pretty layered look, here is how to achieve that:
Add the ingredients in this order for the best visual appeal:
- Epsom Salts
- powdered milk
- Coffee
- Sea Salts

Depending on the size of your jar, you can layer your ingredients into multiple containers. I used these cute bottles and was able to fill several of them. They come with a cork stopper.
Add a little twine tied around the neck, and they make super cute gifts!!
