Ingredients and Supplies For Your DIY Easter Bunny Soaps
Before you get started, gather all your ingredients so you have everything ready to go.

You’ll need an easter bunny silicone soap mold. This is the mold I used:
You’ll also need the following ingredients:
- Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap Base
- Micah Powder
- Essential Oil for Scent – Choose whatever scent you like. A citrus scent like Wild Orange / Sweet Orange or a combo of citrus oils is a bright and cheery scent for a soap like this and kids love citrus.
Step By Step Tutorial to Make Your Easter Bunny Soaps
The first step is to cut the glycerin soap base into cubes to make melting it easier.

Now, divide the cubes evenly into 5 bowls. We’re going to do each color separately.
The next step is to melt the glycerin soap base for 1 of the bowls.
Melt the soap base in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between.
Once you have your base melted, let it cool slightly, then add about 8 – 10 drops of your essential oils. (You can leave this out if you prefer your soap to be unscented.)

Now, add a small amount of mica powder to the bowl and stir until fully combined.
Start with a small amount of mica powder. A little goes a long way.
Adjust color as needed by adding a bit more and stirring until you get the desired shade.

Once you have the color to your liking, pour the mixture into two of the mold cavities.

Then repeat the steps for each color.

You can spray the tops with rubbing alcohol to remove any bubbles, but this is not required.
Let the soaps fully harden at room temperature (about 1โ2 hours). Then gently peel them out of the mold.

Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 ยผ pounds glycerin melt and pour soap base
- Blue, pink, yellow, purple, and green mica powders
- 40 drops essential oils of choice
Instructions
- Cut the glycerin soap base into small cubes to help it melt evenly. Then, separate into 5 separate containers.
- Melt the soap base using a double boiler or microwave in 20-30 second bursts, stirring in between until fully melted.
- Once melted, let the soap cool slightly for about 1 minute.
- Add in 8 drops of essential oils to the melted soap base.
- Add a small amount of mica powder to one bowl and stir until fully combined. Adjust color as needed.
- Pour into your soap mold.
- Repeat steps 2-6 for each color of soap you want.
- Let the soaps fully harden at room temperature (about 1โ2 hours).
Notes
- Spray the top with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles
- Donโt overdo the mica! start small, it goes a long way
- Use gentle, skin-safe essential oils if making for kids (like lavender or sweet orange)
- This made about 12 soaps if using the same mold
