Skip the drugstore with this easy DIY micellar water recipe made with natural ingredients like lecithin and vegetable glycerin. Gentle enough for sensitive skin and ready in minutes!
Pour the hydrosol or water into a glass jar, and place in a double boiler or a pot of simmering water on the stove. Heat on low until liquid is around body temperature.
Remove from heat and add all other ingredients to the liquid, and mix thoroughly.
The lecithin might look like it is not going to mix, just let it sit for a few hours and shake ever so often and it will eventually mix in.
Once the mixture has cooled down to room temperature, pour into a flip-top bottle.
To use, moisten a cotton pad and gently wipe over the skin of the face, and avoid your eyes.

Notes
Use any type of carrier oil - I prefer Jojoba because it is closest to our skin's natural oil.
Keep in the fridge to further preserve this for a few months. If using a preservative, it will last longer.
Hydrosols good for skin: lavender, calendula, tea tree, helichrysum, rose
