Rosemary Essential Oil
Instructions
Cut up the soap base into inch squares. Split in half between two glass mason jars.
Add the lavender into one jar and the rosemary into the other jar.
Heat in a double broiler for a few hours on low heat. This will infuse the herbs into the soapbase
After a few hours, strain each of the melt and pour base into two different glass measuring cups or jars.
Add the purple mica powder into one cup and stir to combine. Leave the other melted soap base white.
Add the essential oils to each cup if using.
Take both measuring cups and swirl them into the soap mold at the same time. Make sure to evenly swirl both colors to create the same design.
Let sit out overnight or until it is completely hard.
Pop your soap bars out of the mold and they are ready to use!
Notes
This recipe will make 3 square soap bars if using the same mold.
You do not have to infuse the soap base if you don’t want to - simply add the essential oils instead.
Any soap base will work.
