This easter bunny bath bomb recipe is a fun and easy Easter craft idea. The easter bunny bath bombs would be a great natural option for a kid's easter basket, or as an Easter decoration.
In a large bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and cornstarch. Mix well, breaking up any clumps.
Add the essential oil to the almond oil.
Mix in the almond oil with the dry ingredients, stirring until evenly incorporated.
Lightly spritz each mixture with water, mixing continuously. The texture should feel like damp sand and hold together when pressed. Go slowly so it doesn’t start fizzing.
Divide the mixture into separate bowls for each color.
Add mica powder to each bowl and mix until you get your desired color.
Pack the mixture tightly into your Easter egg molds.
Let dry for 24 hours before using or packaging.
Notes
Since this is a bigger batch, work in sections when adding water so one part doesn’t dry out while you’re working on another. I also checked after I added the mica powder if I needed more water before putting in the mold.
Any essential oil works, make sure it is kid-safe if using with children.
This made about 14 bath bombs for me if using the same mold
