Charming DIY Christmas Tree Bath Bombs Recipe

Equipment
- Spray bottle with water
Ingredients
- ½ cup baking soda
- ¼ cup citric acid food grade
- ¼ cup unscented Epsom salt
- ¼ cup corn starch
- ½ teaspoon almond oil or Jojoba, Argan, Avocado, etc.
- 8 drops essential oil see notes for ideas
- Green mica powder optional
Instructions
- Add the essential oils to the almond oil.
- Mix the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and corn starch in a large bowl.
- Slowly add the almond oil mixture to the baking soda mixture. Stir to combine.
- Add in the mica powder in small amounts and stir until you get your desired color.
- Finally, spray the mixture with water until it gets to a moldable sand consistency. (I did around 12 sprays). You don’t want it too wet, but don’t want it too dry either.
- Press the mixture into the molds and wait 24 hours or until it is hard like a rock. Let it sit somewhere dry and not humid or it will never harden.
- Gently peel out of the mold and enjoy!

- Essential Oil Ideas:
- Peppermint would make it smell like candy canes
- Cedarwood and Vanilla make a warm and comforting blend
- Fir oils or Pine make it smell like a Christmas Tree
- Use more or less drops depending on your preference.
- This makes 5 bath bombs if using the same mold.
