This refreshing Lavender Lemonade is perfect for a summer BBQ, or afternoon in the backyard! This drink will be a hit with everyone, kids included.
Bonus– the Lavender Essential Oil will help calm any anxious feelings or stress you may be experiencing!
Lavender essential oil is known for it’s calming benefits. So, it makes sense that when you add it to your lemonade, you will be happily zenned out.Is ‘zenned’ a word?? You know what I mean.
Lemon is my favorite essential oil to add to drinks. It is detoxifying and helps your liver and kidneys process out all the bad stuff building up in your system. I always start my day with a glass of lemon water and feel much better when I do. I am prone to kidney stones and any time I feel like I am starting to develop another one, I drink lemon water, and feel better.
Feel like an adult beverage? You could add a splash of vodka to this and have a delicious cocktail.

Ingredients for Your Lavender Lemonade
Raw Honey
Raw Honey is used as the sweetener in this lemonade recipe instead of sugar. Raw Honey has lots of health benefits. I usually buy mine from the farmers market. The benefit of buying local raw honey helps your body fight the specific local allergens found where you live! Plus it supports your local bee keepers.
If you cannot make it to the farmers market, you can pick up Raw Honey from Amazon. This is one I have bought and love!
Health Benefits of Lemon and Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender and Lemon Essential Oil are used to add extra flavor to this Lemonade drink. Both oils have many extra health benefits.
Lemon essential oil can boost your immune system and help your body detox.
Lavender essential oil is calming and can help with anxious feelings and stress.
Is Your Lavender Essential Oil Safe to Drink?
It’s important that you use an essential oil that is safe to consume. Most inexpensive oils found in drugstores and superstores are fragrance oils only, or have added fillers. Even though they use the term “pure essential oil”, there only has to be 1% essential oil in the bottle to use that term.
How can you tell if an essential oil is safe to consume?
Check the label for supplement facts. If there isn’t any supplement facts on the label, don’t take it internally.
You wouldn’t drink a bottle of perfume, right? There is no difference.
