DIY Honey Yogurt Foot Mask
Honey, Yogurt & Bergamot essential oil Foot Mask
When you use this Bergamot Foot Mask, you won’t have to stress about cracked heels on your feet this summer! Your feet will be smooth, moisturized, and look so pretty in those fab new sandals!
Honey, Yogurt, Celery and Bergamot essential oil help repair dry cracked skin, generate new skin cells, reduces inflammation, and provide much needed enzymes and antioxidants.
Why use a foot mask?
Since our feet have the most pores per square inch than any other area of the body, it is important to remember to treat the feet too!
What you put on the feet will absorb into the rest of the body, so do your best to gather high quality, organic ingredients for this foot mask.
This foot mask calls for some somewhat unusual ingredients. Normal to eat, but unusual for our feet! Why are we going to use Greek Yogurt and Celery on our feet? Let’s talk about those powerhouse ingredients.
Why Greek Yogurt?
We will be adding Greek Yogurt to our foot mask. You may be wondering why we are putting yogurt on our feet?
The probiotics in Greek yogurt help deliver beneficial proteins and the lactic acid it contains rids the surface of old cells, making way for radiant, fresh skin.
Celery on our feet?
We’re also going to use a stalk of celery in this Foot Mask. Bet you’ve never used celery on your feet before!
Celery is rich in zinc, which helps to repair dry, cracked skin. Celery also carries vitamins and is cleansing and detoxifying. Try to use organic if possible.
Use local RAW Honey
You’ve maybe used raw honey in facial masks before. Well, there’s a reason we use it on our skin — and no rule that says we can’t use it on our feet also! Raw Honey is so amazing for many many uses, but especially for our skin.
Raw honey is a natural humectant, contains beneficial enzymes and antioxidants, and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Try to find local raw honey at your local farmer’s market. Those are going to have the best properties, because they are usually unprocessed. That teddy bear bottle at the grocery store has absolutely zero beneficial ingredients in it. It’s been super processed, probably in China, and all the good stuff has been processed right out.
If you aren’t able to make it to your local farmer’s market, this honey on Amazon is raw & unprocessed.
And the final ingredient will be using is Bergamot essential oil. Bergamot essential oil is calming and soothing to the skin. Â It’s perfect for this use.

How to Use the Bergamot Foot Mask
To use the foot mask, apply with a brush, or just use your hands if you don’t have a brush handy. Apply to the bottoms and tops of your feet.
Be sure to use a towel that you don’t mind getting messy to avoid getting it on your floors.
A brush like this one will come in handy when applying your mask, although it’s not absolutely necessary.* You can use this brush for applying face masks as well. It will keep the bacteria on your hands from getting onto your face and causing breakouts.
