10) Bugs Be Gone

Lesson 10

We have covered some fun and amazing benefits of LAVENDER Essential Oil. And there are lots of other oils that can benefit you and your family in many ways, but you know what? If you ever find yourself wondering, “Which oil was I supposed to use for this?” just pull out your Lavender. It is such a versatile oil that supports a healthy body and a wellness lifestyle in many ways.

While Lavender has already proven to be very beneficial, there is one area we have not yet discussed: using it on your person as a bug repellent!

We briefly mentioned earlier that you can use a drop of Lavender on a bug bite, but it’s better to keep bugs away in the first place.

To keep those pesky flying irritants away, spray exposed skin with some Lavender, Lemongrass, Geranium, and Peppermint Essential Oils (in equal quantities) and Fractionated Coconut Oil (to top off spray bottle).

Here’s the recipe:

10 drops LAVENDER Essential Oil

• 10 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil

• 10 drops Geranium Essential Oil

• 10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

Combine in a two-ounce glass spray bottle, top with Fractionated Coconut Oil, shake, and spray on exposed skin.

You can also use Lavender as a bug repellent in your garden for natural protection of your plants!
