05) Peppermint and the Outdoors
Enjoying a bit of fun-filled time in the sun can be wonderful, but if we stay out there too long, our bodies can feel the lasting warmth, and the result may be overheated, irritated skin.
Here’s how Peppermint can help.
After Sun Soothing Spray Recipe
- 9 Drops PEPPERMINT Essential Oil
- 9 Drops Melaleuca Essential Oil
- 9 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
- Fractionated Coconut Oil
Combine in a 4 oz. spray bottle. Shake well before applying.
If you get overheated on a hot summer day, spritz PEPPERMINT Essential Oil on the back of neck and wrists to help your body cool off.
Cooling Peppermint Spritz
- 15 drops PEPPERMINT Essential Oil
Combine in a 2 oz. spray bottle. Shake well before spraying.
Menthol once again comes to our rescue by giving our skin that cool and soothing feeling it needs after a hot day outdoors.
